The new music and urban culture festival Tallinn Music Week (TMW) taking place from 27th March to 2nd April will open the historic railway station Balti Jaam for a party marathon staged by club event series AUX, Mürk and Isola.
From Friday, 31st March to Sunday, 2nd April the waiting pavilion of Balti Jaam and pedestrian underpass will be transformed into a techno club “Balti Jaama Tunnel” offering audio-visual experiences, raw beats and cutting edge music curated by AUX, Mürk and Isola. The 30-hour party marathon presents local underground DJs as well as some of the most exciting producers from all over the world, among them one of the UK’s most in-demand producers, Pearson Sound and the mysterious SNTS from Germany.
The Balti Jaama Tunnel will open on Friday, 31st March at 21:00 by Estonian Su—Mu mixing Balearic beat with psychedelic sounds. Also present is Finnish house legend Jori Hulkkonen, hailed as “the most underrated producer in the world”, one-third of the team behind the UK’s Hessle Audio label, David Kennedy’s Pearson Sound.
On Saturday, 1st April the club opens already at 16:00 with the MÜRK party – one of the strongest techno brands in Estonia, presenting local underground favourites along with Hannu Ikola from Finland.
At midnight it’s time for the TMW official after-party by ISOLA, that combines music, fashion and visual arts, showcasing the mysterious ambient techno producer SNTS from Germany whose hidden identity aims to let the music speak for itself.
Balti Jaama Tunnel is an immersive audio-visual experience, completed by the light and video art by Emer Värk.

This year’s edition of TMW from 27th March to 2nd April will present the music festival line-up and two-day industry conference, a series of free City Stage concerts, TMW Arts programme, curated by the Estonian Contemporary Arts Development Centre, Design Market showcasing the most exciting Baltic and Scandinavian brands and designs, TMW Talks series with topics from music to science and societal issues, City Space activities in cooperation with the interior designers of Estonian Academy of Arts and a kids and youth special programme for the first time.
